For students
A clinical case quiz app for medical students
ClinQuiz is a clinical case quiz app for medical students and junior doctors. Instead of picking from answer options, you work the case like a clinician: read the patient, order only the tests you need, then name the diagnosis.
Questions and answers
What is ClinQuiz?
A clinical case quiz app for iPhone and Android. You read a simulated patient, order only the investigations you need and name the diagnosis. Every investigation and every wrong guess costs points.
Who is it for?
Medical students revising for exams and clinical rotations, and junior doctors who want a few cases between shifts.
How is it different from a question bank?
A question bank gives you a vignette and a list of options. In ClinQuiz there are no options. You decide which tests to order and when you are ready to commit, and the cost of each test is part of the score.
Which specialties and languages are covered?
Cases follow an internal medicine style workup. The app and the case content are available in English, Serbian, German and Spanish.
Is ClinQuiz free?
Yes, there is a free plan with daily cases. A subscription unlocks every case and every investigation.
Can I play against other people?
Yes. A ranked duel gives two players the same two cases and a three-minute clock. The higher score wins and moves your Clinical Rating. You can also challenge a colleague in a friendly duel that does not change your rating.
Who writes the cases?
ClinQuiz is made by a software engineer and a medical doctor, with a medical team working on the cases. See the about page.
Is it a substitute for medical advice or textbooks?
No. ClinQuiz is for medical education only. All cases are simulated and must not guide real patient care.
